Tomás Martínez Cortés received his Telecommunications Engineering Degree from Universidad Carlos III in 2010 and his M. Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering and Multimedia and Communications from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2016. He is currently pursuing his Ph. D. thesis in the field of Computer Vision applied to image retrieval.
Since 2011 he is a Research Assistant with the same group. He has participated in different projects related with Computer Vision and image processing, which include object detection, image retrieval, surveillance, medical imaging and intelligent transportation systems among others.
His research interests comprehend a broad class of computer vision and machine learning problems, specially those related to Deep Learning.
